CHARITY WEEK FASHION SHOW FOR OPERATION SMILE

On February 25th, I held a charity week fashion show to raise money for Operation Smile during our charity week at school. The evening was incredible and I am very thankful to everyone who came out to support! This fashion show featured pieces from my collections 'Graffiti Glover' and 'Generation Televised x Eliza Glover', as well as UIV artist's work from the clothing restoration club I run with them.
During the week we managed to raise $6000, where our original goal was $1500. This will help 40 children get life changing operations. Operation Smile is an international medical charity whose global network of thousands of credentialed medical volunteers from more than 80 countries is dedicated to helping improve the health and lives of children from more than 60 countries. They have provided more than 220,000 free surgical procedures for children and young adults born with cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial deformities. To build long-term sufficiency in resource poor environments, they train doctors and local medical professionals in their partner countries so they're empowered to treat their local communities. They also donate medical equipment and supplies and provide year-round medical treatments through their worldwide centres.
